A. propionica is called P. propionicum now, although Cummins and Johnson (1992) consider the name P. arachniforme more appropriate. Nevertheless, in the 9th edition of Bergey s Manual of Determinative Bacteriology it is retained in the genus Arachnia (for determinative purposes). [Pg.43]
