All data on structure, enthalpy of atomization (in kcal mol ) and metal-metal bond lengths were taken from CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, ed. D. R. Lide, 72 edn, CRC Press, Boca Raton. 

For the metals with bcc structure the metal-metal bond length quoted is the 8-coordinate distance for the fee and hep metals the distance quoted is the 12-coordinate distance. 

For metals which have more than one phase the table indicates the phase for which data have been taken.
