Clozapine Apomorphine

They include iV- CjmethyM-phenyltetrahydropyridine (MPTP, 292), apomorphine 293, clozapin 294, mepivakain 295, hydromorfon 296, and zimelidine 297 in 50-80% yields with respect to 1 -methyl iodide and with better than 98% radiochemical purity. iV-[nC]methylketanserin 298 and -[ Cjmethyldexetimide 299 have also been synthesized by this method. 

Most antipsychotics,but also many non-an-tipsychotic drugs, reverse deficits in PPI induced by amphetamine or apomorphine (152, 153). In contrast, Dg receptor antagonists such as haloperidol fail to reverse deficits in PPI induced by PCP or dizocilpine (153-156), while such deficits are, at least in part, reversed by clozapine (156), remoxipride (157), olanzapine (158), and quetiapine (155). Risperidone fails to reverse the effect of PCP (155), but it antagonizes the disruption of PPI induced by the 5-HT2A agonist DOI (150,153). 

The manufacturer of APO-go specifically notes that there is a potential interaction between clozapine and apomorphine, although they say that clozapine may also be used to reduce the symptoms of neuropsychiatric complications of Parkinson s disease.
