Aplidium uouo

Uoamines A (172) and B (173) are piperidine alkaloids, isolated from Aplidium uouo from Maui, Hawaii. They differ only in the geometry of the 3-thiomethylacrylate ester group [168]. [Pg.644]

Uoamines A and B were isolated from Aplidium uouo harvested in Hawaii. They are (E) and (2) esters of 3-thiomethylacrylic acid the isomer (Z) is isomerized very slowly to isomer ( ), but the reverse reaction has not been reported (McCoy and Faulkner, 2001). [Pg.1671]
