Chlorpromazine, prochlorperazine, promethazine, methylprednisolone, lorazepam, metoclopramide, dexamethasone, or dronabinol may be used for adult patients. Around the clock dosing should be considered. The choice of specific agent should based on patient specific factors, including potential for adverse drug reactions, and cost.
