Anionic cellulose-based flocculant

The flocculant based on cellulose can be generally classified into four major groups [i] cationic cellulose-based-flocculant, (ii) anionic cellulose-based flocculant [41], (Hi) amphoteric cellulose-based flocculant, (iv) nonionic cellulose-based flocculant [42] as follows  [Pg.107]

In Mishra s work [41], an environmentally benign and efficient route of synthesis of polyacrylic acid grafted carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-g-PAA) is developed using microwave radiation alone to initiate the grafting reaction. The synthesis is optimized in terms of percentage grafting and intrinsicviscositybyvaryingthe microwave [Pg.107]
