Sheep amniotic fluid

NMR spectroscopy of human amniotic fluid. Several studies of amniotic fluid using NMR spectroscopy have also been carried out, principally to analyse the phospholipid content. One study of the metabolic profiling of ovarian follicular fluids from sheep, pigs and cows has been reported. [Pg.116]

Q fever is a zoonosis and mainly affects cattle, sheep and goats. Infected animals are typically asymptomatic and shed the organism in bodily fluids, the highest concentrations being found in products of gestation including placenta and amniotic fluid. Human exposure therefore occurs from contact with these materials. Infection may also rarely occur from ingestion of contaminated foods or liquids. [Pg.170]
