It should be noted that the gels show a single glass transition (Tg = -38.7°C), which is far below the Tg of the first generation amino-terminated tridendrons (20.2°C), but above the Tg of the pure PEG, -52°C (14). It is also seen that even the addition of a relatively small quantity of low generation dendrimer decreases the crystallinity of the resulting gel (AHpEo 122.6 J/g, AHg = 105.3 J/g).
