Aluminum Triazide, (formerly called Aluminum Azoimide) A1(N3)3, mw 153 04, N 82.38% Wh crysts, sol in tetrahydrofuran, insol in eth or benz, hydrolyzed by w(Ref 3). Prepd in quant yield by adding an eth soln of excess HN3 to a frozen ether soln of A1H3 and thawing(Ref 3). [Pg.521]
