Fluoxetine Alosetron

In an open, non-randomized, crossover study in 12 healthy female and male volunteers alosetron 1 mg bd had no effect on the pharmacokinetics of fluoxetine 20 mg/day (45). Co-administration of the two drugs was well tolerated by all the subjects.

An open study in 12 healthy subjects found that alosetron 1 mg twice daily for 15 days had no clinically significant effect on the pharmacokinetics of a single 20-mg dose of fluoxetine. There was a median 3-hour delay in time to reach peak levels of both S- andl -fluoxetine, but this was thought unlikely to be clinically relevant for a drug that requires several weeks to achieve its full therapeutic effect. ... 

Alosetron had no clinically significant effect on fluoxetine pharmacokinetics in healthy subjects.
