Almandite

Red. The red stones include ruby and both pyrope and almandite garnet (almandine). [Pg.660]

Ferrosil 14 ferroaluminuni silicate is a naturally occurring mineral mixture of almandite and pyrope. It has high uniform specific gravity, low oil absorption, a fine particle size, euid high Mohs hardness. [Pg.164]
