Alkoxycyclopropylcarbene complexes

Alkoxycyclopropylcarbene complexes display characteristic H and l3C NMR signals for the a-cyclopropyl proton and carbene carbon, respectively. The a-protons resonate at the narrow 3.1-3.5 ppm range. The carbene carbons absorb significantly downfield from the carbonyl ligands (ca 215 ppm) over the range of 325-360 ppm.
