Horlick and Yuen make extensive use of aliasing or folding of different spectral regions into the final spectrum. This topic is discussed in many references on Fourier transform spectroscopy (c.f. reference 19), and therefore will not be developed here. It is because of their use of aliasing that several spectra in Figure 9 have multiple frequency scales. [Pg.445]

Aliasing is a common problem of BIST techniques. This is shown in column four. For example, consider a memory laid out in rows and columns and assume that one column is a complete failure. If there are multiple failures along the column, let us say 256, and if the signature length is 256, the output could possibly show a correct response even though the entire column or row of the memory is defective. [Pg.851]

Fig. 20 Selected PANACEA spectra of a cholesterol sample (ca. 30% in CDCI3) recorded on a Varian 600 MHz NMR system equipped with two receivers and a cryogenic HCN probe optimized for C-13 detection. The experiment time was 23 min. A fourfold undersampling (aliasing) was used with optimized offset and spectral window in the Fi (SQ) dimension, (a) Inadequate spectrum (b) multiplicity edited HSQC spectrum (the negative peaks are shown in red). Reproduced from Ref. 36. Elsevier, 2010...
