Alcohols, alkynic kinetic resolution

Kinetic resolution of l-alkyn-3-ols employing lipase AH-S was rather tedious to repeat the acetylation and chromatographic separation three times. Fortunately, in 1997, Anastasia and coworkers found that ( )-l-trimethylsilyl-l-alkyn-3-ols can be resolved into (R)-acetates and (S)-alcohols in a single step without repeating the enz3unatic kinetic resoluhon [23].
