In the remainder of this chapter I will use Renn s framework from Chapter 1 as a structure to locate a number of issues which stand out to me in the chapters of the book. I start with a summary characterisation of the offshore oil and gas industry and what this means for the focus of the book within that model. I end with a more detailed discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of the different regimes featured. Throughout the text I surest lessons to be learned and work to be pursued, both by researchers and practitioners.
