Adsorption of Ice Nucleators

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Studies of Interfacial Phenomena 

SEM images of PG/silica were recorded using a JEOL 6100 SEM (JEOL Optical Laboratory, Japan) with acceleration voltage of 18 kV. 

The IR spectra of PG (Fig ure 1.63a curve 1) and nanosilica individual (curve 2) and with adsorbed PG (0.25 mmol/g) (curve 3) demonstrate an influence of PG on a broad IR band at Vqh=3300 cm- assigned to adsorbed water.
