Acetylphenyl Phenylthio Tellurium1 0.5 g (2.0 mmol) of 3-oxo-2,3-dihydrobenzotellurophene and benzenethiol are added to a small volume of diethyl ether, the mixture is stirred vigorously for 1 h at 20°, and then extracted with chloroform. The organic extract is evaporated and the residue is recrystallized from heptane yield 0.35 g (50%) m.p. 105°.
