A Organogermanium Metal Imides

A ntttnber of organogermanium metal imides containing group I, II and IV metals have recently been reported. The derivatives of lithium and aluminum are very sensitive to air and moisture. Derivatives with boron and other group IV metals are rather stable. The following scheme lists synthetic method for the organogermanium metal imides in Table 69. [Pg.219]

By rxn. of (Me2GeNMe)3 or the crude rxn. prod. Me2GeCl2 with MeNH2 (1 3) with MeLi in Et20 in N atm. under reflux (l855)-Prop. NMR spectrum, stable in N atm. in the dark (1855)  [Pg.219]

Lithium Bis(triethylgermyl)amide Ge2LiCi2H3oN (Et3Ge)2NLi [Pg.219]

By rxn. of (Et3Ge)2NH with BuLi in hexane in N atm. under reflux [Pg.219]

Brownish solid dec. on heating in vacuo, sensitive to air, soly. [Pg.219]
